Hi: Im from Cleveland, did you go to the welfare office the only way you did not get help is you husband make a Lot of money they will give CASH, FOOD STAMPS and MEDICAL for the kids, you no we have the Housing advacates, the Housing Network also did you try Call For Help 211 they can get you to people who have what you need , the helped me and I'm in Cleveland, and no they will not take your kids if your in a shelter, you can get Emergnecy Assistance quicker then, they will take them if they FEEL they are negliated or abused
I really do not know how to ask for help. I sound mean and ungrateful when I do ask, even though I am not. So right to the point My husband and I are about to be on the streets, we are goin gto lose everything even our kids. My husband works hard and I am unable to work. We have fallin behind on everything and are on our way to the streets. Mind you if it was just us and no kids we would not ask for any help. We have gone to all the places that offer assitance and we do not quilify for any. We have asked our familys for help and they told us no also. We do not spend money on things that we dont need. We buy food, pay rent, pay the bills and put gas in the car. We do not buy new clothes, have cable nor do we do drugs/alcohole. Prime example of falling through the cracks. We do need the help to just get on our feet. We would even work for the help. We can do Landscaping and small repairs on cars/trucks. Belive me when I tell you we have tried for all the "help" and have been denided. If we end up in a shelter in this county we will lose our kids. I have seen it done to meny times. Hello I am a mother of 3 kids and a wife. My family and I have been going throw some really hard times. We have no heat in our house, and the house payment is behind. I am trying to find ways to get out of deth. I can not apply to welfare, we are over their money limits by $150. I want to get a job but at this time we own one car that is not running very good at all. It is so unsafe to drive don't take my kids no where unles I have to. I am so lost I really don't know what to do. Life is getting to be too much for us to deal with. And with out me and my husband the kids have no one. I am praying to god all the time to help, give me the strangh to keep going. If there is anyone that can help I would be more then greatful... Best wishes to all out there in the same boat I am in.
